Hi there,
I've just been browsing around on the net, and found your site, very impressive.
I have a question that you may or may not be able to answer, or perhaps you could point me in the right direction.
I am resident in Spain, and have been for six and a half years, living in the province of Malaga in the hills near Antequera. Some years ago a friend drove my MG Midget down from the UK, and it has been here ever since. This year I was planning to do a full rebuild on it, and change it over to Spanish plates, the car was built in 1976, and now needs a thorough overhaul.
I have been told that DIFFERENT rules apply for cars over 30 years old.
Before I start work, and end up with a pretty car that I may not be able to use on the road, I reckon a bit of homework on my part is needed.
The question is, do you or any of you contacts have any advice ?
Thanks again for producing such a useful site
Best regards
Mike Stroud
Hi Mike
Thanks for the comments on my site, going from strength to strength!
Try Brian Deller he concentrates on motoring in Spain he is based down in the south, and he writes for expat newspapers on the subject, he should be albe to give you some pointers.
Would be interested on how you get on and if you have any advice to offer be gratful if you could post it on the forum.
Good luck
