Hi. I moved to the Playa San Juan area, on my own, about 6 months ago from the UK, luckily, with a job waiting for me. I have managed to get through the headaches of applying for the N.I.E., buying a car, signing the Padron etc etc. Now I find I have time on my hands but am frustrated that I am unable to make friends here. I am finding that the great local newspapers, Costa Blanca News, CB Friday etc. have alot of advertising for clubs and associations and general meetings both North and South of the Alicante area but nothing specifically for Alicante and San Juan. I am interested both in meeting friends, joining in local activities both with Spanish and fellow ex-pats, does anyone know of anything or have any ideas where I can search these out.
