Hi,
We have deicded we really want to make the move to Spain. We have 4 children aged nearly 2, nearly 3, 6 and 7.
I am learning Spanish and am also about to start on a Trinity Tesol course.
I am wondering really how difficult you think it would be for me to get work teaching English in the Costa Blanca area, or whether maybe, I should work hard at the Spanish and try more for an administration/secretarial type job. I worked for 10 years in a solicitors office as a Probate Executive and as trainee legal exec.
What sort of wages can I expect?
My husband was hoping that maybe with a bit of hard work he could pick up a job maybe in the building trade or hotel maintenance or something. He is currently a qualified scaffolder. He is also a very hardworker and willing to do most things.
Our plan is to rent for a while to make sure we are happy and to see how the job hunting goes and of course, that our children settle in ok and then eventually purchase a property, thus leaving us rent and mortgage free.
We are also looking for somewhere to rent reasonably coastal in Costa Blanca area but preferably within walking distance of amenities and schools. Can you help?
Many thanks
Elka
