Hello,

I thought that I would introduce myself to you all, My name is David I am living and working in Spain in the Alicante area, I have lived here for six years now and have found my feet.  I speak Spanish, German as well as English, I came to Spain looking for that dream but as yet to find it, its not that I dont like living here, its the fact that I still have to live to work  if you know what I mean?  I can not sit back and do nothing, and my wife complains that we came here to retire, and not do too much as we have earned the rest.

Back in the UK I worked as a Presenter for local BBC radio and Hospital radio, I also wrote for local newspapers and my parish magazine, and was training to be a Massage Therapist.  So you see even then I could not rest and take it easy, I enjoy meeting people and going out for a good game of Pool and a meal.
