Qualified Teaching Assistant

ok, so I haven't got the hang of this yet!
I was trying to say...
I am a qualified TA and am able to work with children with special ed needs. Is there much call for this kind of work in the area? My husband wants to emmigrate but i have to admit to being a little unsure! Apart from being worried about jobs, I am worried about moving our three boys! Two are at school (8 and 5). I am overwhelmed! House, school, health care... Where do I begin!

Re: Qualified Teaching Assistant

Hi Nena

YOu need to trawl the web and find as much information as possible good and bad, it is daunting and it is hard and it works for some and not for others you have to open minded and not have any or at least too many expectations.

Get talking on forums to people who have been there!! There is lots and lots of information on my site about every aspect of living in Spain.

As for teaching here unless you are fluent in Spanish or intend to set up privately then forget it!!!

Sorry if thats a bit blunt but its the truth!

Good luck but feel free to ask any other questions its great if we can get this forum going with lots of real people and this is just the begining.................
