Hi everyone, This is my 1st post so I apologise if its a topic thats been posted before....

We are intending on moving to Balsicas Village, which is in the Murcia area. We have 2 children (10 and 6 who are now both taking Spanish lessons!) and are intending on enroling them in State School, for the beginning of the new School year in September.

We are planning on visiting the area in 2 weeks and then again in late March to find a good school in our location and then begin the enrolment process. I have taken onboard what this excellent website says in the "Schools" section but wanted to know if anybody had more detail on schools and enrolment in the Murcia area itself.

Also, if we would be able to get the ball rolling on our initial visits.

Just to add that normally until you have the padron you cannot enrol some scholls will let you put the pupils name down and may let you so this in March. It is a catchment system over here much like the UK so try not to worry too much about this again post your questions on the Torre forum anyone know this school personally etc, they are a really helpfull bunch!
